This is a blog to start my adventure of cake making. It all began when the Easy Bake oven was invented. I remember seeing the bright pink (which is not my favorite color) box and just staring at it. I would not move for anything. I think my mom even paged me over the speaker and was still not paying attention. After my mom finally found me she grabbed my ear and pulled me all the way out the store. As she was pulling away, I looked out the window watching the store get smaller and smaller as I remember wiping a small tear from my eye saying good bye to Easy Bake forever. I would tell my mom that I wanted to the Easy Bake oven, she would reply you burn your finger(s) (like the Christmas story 'you'll shoot your eye out!') Then one year for my birthday, a family friend bought me a gift and it was the biggest box I have ever seen at my birthday. It was the bright pink box with the words EASY BAKE OVEN. I began to scream with joy and jump around (you would of thought I won the lottery). I carefully ripped the box open and pulled out the pieces. I was so excited and ready to bake...and the rest is a bit of history. I have been watching the cooking channel for years and then...Ace of Cakes. It was a dream show come true. I watched it a great deal along with Cake Boss, Cupcake Wars, big cakes, and what ever else was associated with cakes. On this blog are just a few of my cakes. I am adventurous in making any type of cake.
